Posting on Facebook

I'm using Co-Pilot to post daily on FB, which is easy, but I notice that when I do these posts get absolutely no comments/ likes etc. At the top it says 'Published by Art Storefronts' so is this being blocking my interaction in someway by FB and could this reference be taken off?

Because I am on hub mine do not have the asf label. However the format is so generic ( every one on asf looks the same) the algorithm does not promote it. You have to mix in original material, especially video to get more eyes on your stuff. Follow Indra's boot camps.

The "Published by" tag might be part of it, but the algorithm reads more than that. If you're pushing daily through automation and the posts all land at the same interval with similar structures, Facebook treats it like scheduled content. That reads colder to the system than something you typed in manually, even if the words are identical.

The engagement drop could also be timing. Are people actually online when these hit, or are you posting into a dead zone because the scheduler runs at convenience rather than when your audience shows up?

I'm paying to use Co-Pilot so ASF structures the post content and post frequency

I ran into something similar years back when I was automating social posts for a small print shop gig. The 'Published by' tag was definitely part of the problem, Facebook's algorithm sees third-party posting tools as lower-quality content and suppresses reach. I ended up ditching automation entirely for anything that mattered, just posted manually from my phone during coffee breaks. The engagement difference was immediate. Not saying that's the only answer, but the platform really does punish anything that looks like it's coming from a bot.

I'm sorry but I don't like Co-Pilot as whilst it creates 'content' and schedules it, I find the actual posts have no real substance or relevance and I have to edit anyway! Plus when they get onto FB no interaction

Hey! Good catch noticing that "Published by Art Storefronts" label. Let's untangle what's actually happening here.

That label itself isn't causing Facebook to suppress your posts. Facebook doesn't penalize posts based on a small attribution line. What's far more likely driving the low engagement is the scheduling/publishing pattern itself:

- Posts published through any third-party scheduler (Co-Pilot, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite) tend to get less organic reach than posts made natively inside the Facebook app. Facebook has always quietly favored native posts. The workaround: use Co-Pilot to draft and calendar your content, then copy-paste the text and image into a native Facebook post manually for your most important pieces. Let the automated ones fill the gaps.

- Posting daily without engagement in between is the real killer. Facebook's algorithm watches whether YOU are active on the platform, not just whether you're posting. Spend 5 minutes before and after each post commenting on other people's content in your niche. That signals to Facebook that you're a real participant, not a broadcast tower.

- Check your posting times. If Co-Pilot is publishing at a time when your audience isn't scrolling, even great content lands flat. Look at your Facebook Page Insights under "When Your Fans Are Online" and adjust your schedule to match those windows.

- Mix up post types. If every post is a single image with a caption, Facebook deprioritizes the pattern. Throw in a carousel, a short video of your process, or a text-only post asking a question. Variety signals authenticity to the algorithm.

As for removing the "Published by Art Storefronts" line, that's a question for Art Storefronts support directly since it's tied to how Co-Pilot connects to your Facebook page. But honestly, fixing the engagement pattern above will move the needle way more than removing a small attribution label.

Want to test something specific? Let me draft a week of Facebook posts you can copy-paste as native posts and see if native posting moves your numbers.
