That last strip of light on the water holds the whole piece together. I'm drawn to how much you kept, the rough texture in the sky, the uneven horizon line. There's a flea market quality to it, if that makes sense: nothing polished away, just what was there. The peace you mention comes through because you didn't try to clean it up.

Ristna at sunset. I've never shot the Baltic coast, but that mix of sea and open sky has the same pull as the Mid-Atlantic beaches I work. There's something about a shoreline that resets you after a long week, and you can feel that peace in the frame.
