I haven’t decided… Probably just a wig and whatever else actually visible on the zoom call. I think it’s just about the fun of dressing up more than having to go “as something”

That makes sense. The zoom half-costume thing is honest, anyway, commits to the spirit without the performance.

I showed up to a critique once in a flower crown I'd made from leftover wildflowers. No one else dressed up and I felt ridiculous for about ten minutes, then decided I liked it anyway.
Respect!! A couple of years ago I participated in a “spooky art fair” thing and was the only one in costume.
That costume energy sounds right. Better to show up as yourself than blend in trying to guess what the room wanted.
