The NEW #SmallWins by Art Storefronts!

I would like to introduce one of my favourit Art Pieces: Bird in Violet and Indigo

Post image 1

Colorful birds have always captured my full attention... they inspire me to create abstract paintings of them, using pastel colors to accentuate their beauty.

"The Bird in Violet and Indigo" was born out of my acrylic color pallet.

I painted "The Bird in Violet and Indigo" as a loose, soaring figure drifting through violet and indigo, with warm flashes of orange and pink. It portrays a fragile kind of freedom - movement held inside a quiet space. Which color draws you in first, and would you feel it more as motion or stillness?

Violet and indigo together create such a specific mood, almost like twilight compressed into a single moment. I'm drawn to the warm flashes first because they feel like the bird's heartbeat against all that cool space. It reads as motion to me, but motion that's suspended, like the second before a dive.
