I took this in the fall of 2025. It was the first day that the North Rim of the canyon reopened after the summer's devastating fires. Shortly after I took this image the fog completely filled the canyon and it stayed that way the rest of the day.
I am new to this art helper site and cannot figure out how to post here. I am able to comment but that’s it. Can you please guide me along so I can participate? Thanks!
Click Community (upper left) then click ‘all communities’. Click ‘join’ for those you want to join.
Then at your selected (by clicking the name) Community level (like ‘photography’), click “new post”.
Give it a title.
In the content field type your text. The click the image icon to add an image. Then click ‘post’.

What a great idea to capture that which hangs over the abyss, without seeing the abyss, to add to the sense of mystery; e.g. "what lies below?". Beautiful.
