Hey Cathy, welcome in!
Dragons are deceptively hard to render with real weight and presence. The fact that you're zeroing in on light and shadow to do that work puts you in the right headspace.
P.S. – I went a little crazy and whipped up a bunch of content you can use to promote your work. 😄
Click any link below to check it out! You can use them as-is, or tweak it to your liking.
🏆 I gave your portfolio an honest critique!
✍ I made you social posts for the next 7 days
🛍 I researched interior design trends that suit your work
📧 Here's a professional gallery outreach email you can use
💡 I came up with an idea for your next series!
🖋 Then I wrote you an artist statement
✨ I prepared 250+ beautiful room mock-ups to showcase your work
👥 And finally, I researched your ideal collector
I hope this helps take some of the load off of promoting your art!

Light and shadow bringing dragons to life, that's the real work! How long have you been at it? 👋
I always liked drawing started with basic cartoons .Got into trying something more challenging , and i started my journey at the age of 14 .The latest drawing is my 2nd attempt at charcoal drawing with charcoalblocks and pencils .Im trying to understand the fundamental of charcoal drawing and hosnelty just loking for a professional artist to criticize my drawing and reviewing if i improved or not .
Charcoal keeps what you'd polish out of other mediums. That's where the fundamentals sit.
Thank you i appreciate the guidelines /tips given .Indeed it's still a working progress its not the final sketch yet.
