“Leopard I” presents a leopard watching quietly through dense foliage to ensure he is not spotted by his prey. His bright golden eyes draw the viewer in, revealing the focus and patience of a skilled predator. I captured this image early one morning in Botswana as the leopard was moving about, looking for the best vantage point from which to strike.
