Fractured Gaze

Description

This surreal artwork presents a fragmented face surrounded by watchful eyes, distorted forms, and shadowed textures. A restrained palette of charcoal, gray, ivory, and deep red creates an ominous tension, while expressive marks suggest unease and fractured perception. Its abstract composition invites repeated viewing, revealing new details across the layered imagery. A compelling addition to a space that welcomes thought-provoking art.

Artist

I create expressive portraits and textured paintings in charcoal, ink, graphite, and layered color. My work explores introspection, curiosity, and the quiet intensity of people, animals, and imagined worlds, shaped from my studio in Scotland.
