Description
How far apart can two worlds be ... if they share the same sky? Here, we see a quiet countryside waiting for sunrise - as well as a city glowing at dusk. I have never seen a painting like this before. When the idea for it came to me, I knew I had to pursue it. There are more than 70 buildings in the cityscape, each drawn and then painted by brush. It was very tedious work, but in the end, I was totally pleased. I didn't want the skyline to resemble any single city so I created my own skyscrapers. The fence posts in the rural countryside kind of connect with the spires of the skyscrapers. It's a stark contrast between nature and urban life. The upside-down city against the vibrant, peaceful countryside captures the tension between two worlds. This piece will bring a dynamic energy to your space, inviting contemplation on balance and coexistence. It’s a visual journey from grounded reality to infinite possibility.
