Sculpted Motion

Description

Sculpted Motion presents a group of metal figures in a sequence of bent, reaching poses. Textured surfaces and angular forms give the composition a sense of movement, while the soft-focus garden setting keeps attention on the sculpture. Its monochrome palette and expressive silhouette bring a thoughtful focal point to a living room, studio, or gallery wall.

Artist

Sculptor in Pittsburgh. Mid scale figurative work in reclaimed steel, torsos and hands mostly, sourced from old bridges and machine shops around western PA. Took me three years to stop fighting the material and let heat distortion do some of the talking. Still cracking welds.
