Purple Plane III

Description

Two broad vertical-diagonal bands create a clean, measured rhythm. The work extends that idea through controlled relationships of colour, shape, surface and space.

Artist

After a career in engineering, I turned to abstract painting to explore my creative side. Working mainly in acrylics, I combine structure and precision with spontaneity, texture and movement, exploring the tension between order and chaos.
