Taj Mahal Reflection

Description

The Taj Mahal rises above a long reflecting pool, its pale stone façade mirrored in still water. Cypress trees and formal gardens frame the view, while the central path draws the eye toward the monument’s grand dome. Its calm symmetry brings a sense of quiet balance to a room.

I’ve been a student of photography since I was four years old. My dad was a teacher by profession and a wedding photographer in the 1950s, and I grew up learning in his darkroom. Working in complete darkness—guided only by feel, memory, and instinct—was magical to me.
