Qutb Minar

Description

Weathered stone arches and carved columns rise from the ruins, their warm ochre tones set against a soft, misty sky. Gentle morning light brings out the varied textures of the ancient masonry and the quiet atmosphere of the site. This architectural photograph adds a sense of history and calm to a living room, office, or reading nook.

I’ve been a student of photography since I was four years old. My dad was a teacher by profession and a wedding photographer in the 1950s, and I grew up learning in his darkroom. Working in complete darkness—guided only by feel, memory, and instinct—was magical to me.
