Last Winter

Description

This piece presents a quiet, evocative landscape where abstract forms of trees rise amid soft layers of muted grays, pale yellows, and subtle lavenders. The work conveys a sense of reflective stillness and light inspired by the coastal forests of the Pacific Northwest. Its textured surfaces and nuanced colors invite contemplation and reveal the passage of time within nature’s shifting moods. A refined addition, this painting lends thoughtful presence to any space.

Artist

Through the use of line, color, form and 'materials at hand,' S. Clifford's art making offers a perspective beyond the 'everydayness' of discarded materials, people and places taken for granted; an appreciation of the viewer's hyper-local environment.
