Backbend Portrait

Description

A graphite portrait of a woman leaning back, her head tilted upward and one hand resting near her neck. Soft shading defines her profile and arms against the open background, while her dark top gives the composition a strong point of contrast. Its restrained palette and expressive pose bring a thoughtful presence to a favorite wall or reading nook.

Artist

I create graphite portraits and figure studies that explore quiet gestures, expressive poses, and moments of reflection. Through delicate lines and soft shading, I bring a thoughtful, intimate presence to each drawing.
