Description
This second installment of my series titled PARALLELISM II/CHROMA is a stunning art piece that pays homage to the rich Japanese tradition of art and culture. It takes inspiration from the Twelve Level Cap and Rank System, which was established in 603 and holds significant historical importance in Japan.
The art piece is set against a delicate whitish green backdrop, symbolizing serenity and tranquility. This color choice represents the harmonious balance that is often associated with Japanese art. The soft hues create a calming atmosphere, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the artwork.
At the forefront of this masterpiece, koi fish gracefully dance across the canvas. These elegant creatures are depicted using a combination of grey, white, black, and blue tones, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail. Each fish is uniquely painted, capturing the distinctive patterns and textures that koi fish are known for.
The presence of koi fish holds deep symbolism in Japanese culture, representing qualities such as perseverance, determination, and success. These fish are often seen as a symbol of good luck and fortune. As they swim through the Japanese ocean, the koi fish appear to move effortlessly, exemplifying grace and elegance.
