Slate Brushstrokes

Description

An abstract painting arranged with rows of rounded forms in charcoal, slate, silver, and ivory against a warm beige ground. Rich, raised-looking brushwork gives each shape a tactile quality, while the muted palette keeps the composition calm and contemporary. It makes a distinctive, considered addition to a living room, office, or gallery wall.

Artist

I find myself drawn to making abstract pieces with bright but soft style. Currently playing with thick heavy texture but interested in miniatures, repurposing old furniture and accessories. Would love to get into resin, pottery, and eventually glass blowing when I can get a space
