Hey Len, good morning.. just was curious because I looked up the Outsiders community on Art helper.. I was wondering if this was the same group you had referenced to me on previous post..? Yup,, and not to pry too much, but are you an older Dead Head? I am of course.. got on the bus in '88.. many moons ago.. but you seem to be someone in touch with cause and effect.. especially in this piece. and of course you say "ripple effect' i think Grateful Dead.. again just curious... have a good day..Steve, the poetry man.. I kinda like the title.. but honestly not the only nickname given to me...lol

Hey Steve! I was just referring to the term "outsiders" that is used for artists who don't have the formal training behind them, and that is what I am. I was never a "dead head" but a big fan of the Eurythmics, Heart, Toto, Fleetwood Mac (of course Stevie) Janis, Pat Benatar, Joni, Carly, Carol, James, Laura Nyro. I even saw Liza on broadway and at the Palace too!! And yes, nicknames can be detrimental, especially in those teenage years I can remember!

Hmm.. so not a dead head but a "classic rock' fan.. no offense, but shame you missed out on the scene.. seems like you would have fit right in.. but I brought it up because your works remind me of some of the huge backdrops behind the band, when they were onstage..very flowy, psychedelic, and a bit surreal.. but also great colors and things like that.. I think Heads would really like your work.. and oh I was never really bothered by too many nicknames.. I saw them as terms of endearment.. in high school they called me "dough boy".. I wasn't heavy or anything but I think you get the reference. lol.. good chatting with you as well..
