Existem certos métodos nos quais você confia fielmente? Você usa o ArtHelper? Você consulta outra plataforma de IA? Você deixa sua arte simplesmente "falar" com você e partir daí?

Quando eu, pessoalmente, uso vários métodos diferentes para me orientar. Como escritor, e ex-poeta há muito tempo, muitas vezes eu apenas "sentia" a obra e então criava um título provisório... que, sinceramente, mudava ocasionalmente. Usar meu lado criativo parecia ser mais adequado. ENTRETANTO. Às vezes, essa voz interior falha.

Eu nunca fui usuário de IA até chegar ao Art Storefronts. O Art Helper é um ponto de partida para mim, e ele desperta uma ideia que então eu massageio.

Isso não significa que seja perfeito, mas pode ser um excelente guia para colocar esses pensamentos no caminho certo.

Depois, há aquelas pessoas em quem você confia, que irão lançar ideias a partir de sua própria interpretação da sua obra abstrata.

Um título interessante pode gerar uma conversa inteira!

Um amigo esteve na minha casa logo após eu terminar esta peça. Eu estava sem ideias de como chamá-la. Os três cálices eram de um dos meus arbustos que cresce fora do meu espaço de arte (meu "folly") e ela olhou e embarcou na ideia de um foguete! Então, eu o chamei de "Decolagem". Ele foi vendido para um colecionador de arte ávido, quando quis homenagear Ozzie Osbourne logo após sua morte. O colecionador também era músico e adorava a música "Into the Void", então você nunca sabe o que um título pode fazer para promover a necessidade de adquirir sua arte!

Built on a foundation of crime story pages, this canvas carries fragments of human narrative beneath the surface. Acrylic paint is layered over the top, while pieces of natural Australian bark are embedded into the work -

bringing the physical landscape into the piece itself. The result is a fusion of story and place, where texture, text, and earth collide.

Anyone aware of any mixed media exhibitions happening this year? Just saw a great one at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago

In following up on a "prompt" from a well-known mixed media artist, Rachel Davies, she suggested doing something with rust.

I have had this rusty piece that I found off of an old truck, deep in the woods where I hike in Oregon. This was one I've held onto. not sure what I wanted to do, til now. It also has a praying mantis cocoon found on our property, fungi, a feather and a large hard seed pod from Florida. Slate, stone and jewelry grace it as well. Since it's the Year of The Fire Horse, thus my title for it.
