1979-1997 Comparison of a Mermaid Composition

David died in 2016. I have spent several years archiving his thousands of paintings, drawings, and sketches. What strikes me most is how consistent his identity and sensibilities were over time, even as his craftsmanship improved.

I can easily recognize any of his art immediately, regardless of media or time period.
