Sahasrāra — The Seventh Chakra This work is devoted to Sahasrāra, the seventh chakra, associated with higher consciousness, spiritual openness, and connection with the Source. At the center of the composition appears a luminous crystalline form, in shades of white and mauve, that stands out against a deep blue background studded with stars. Its multiple facets catch and diffuse the light, giving the whole an almost immaterial presence. Unlike the other works in the series, this canvas presents no inner scene and no figures. I deliberately left the space open so that light itself becomes the subject of the work. The crystal can evoke a consciousness that opens and becomes receptive to a subtler dimension. The shades of white represent the Light, while the mauve accompanies the idea of elevation and inner transformation. The cosmic sky widens this opening beyond the individual. It suggests the immensity of what surpasses us and the possibility of a connection with the Source, without trying to give it a material representation. With Sahasrāra, the journey through the seven chakras reaches a space where it is no longer about showing, but about letting the Light appear.
