Description
This painting explores the space between experience and understanding—the place where something felt but not yet known begins to take form.
Layers of colour, gesture, and texture move across the surface like fragments of memory, emotion, and sensation. Some elements reveal themselves immediately, while others remain partially hidden, asking to be revisited. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, the work invites a process of discovery.
For me, painting often mirrors the therapeutic journey. We rarely begin with clarity. We begin with impressions, tensions, patterns, and questions. Meaning emerges slowly, through attention, reflection, and a willingness to stay with what has not yet fully revealed itself.
This work honours that unfolding process. It is an exploration of becoming—of allowing understanding to arise naturally from what was once uncertain, fragmented, or unseen.
This abstract composition presents a fluid interplay of blues and earthy tones, inviting a journey through shifting emotions and textures. The layered application reveals moments of tension and release, evoking a subtle dialogue between stillness and movement. Its depth and complexity offer a quiet reflection that enhances any space with thoughtful energy.
