Description
Where Color Rests grew out of my love for the quiet, fleeting moments in nature — the kind that stay with me long after I’ve seen them. I’m drawn to the way light moves across a horizon, how color can shift from vivid to soft in an instant, and how something expansive can also feel deeply still. This piece is my way of holding onto that feeling. In my work, I’m always chasing the balance between movement and calm. I want the viewer to feel both the energy of color and the sense of breathing space it can create. Through layered forms, luminous transitions, and a wide horizontal flow, I try to build a place that feels open, reflective, and gently alive. At its heart, this piece is about pause — about the moment when color settles, when motion softens, and when something beautiful feels quietly complete. I hope it invites others into that same space of wonder, where they can slow down, look more closely, and find their own meaning in the shifting light.
