Description
The Worship of the Remnant is an evocative abstract portrayal inspired by the promise in the Book of Joel (Joel 2:32): “And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
In the lower portion of the composition, a gathered remnant rises from a dark and rugged landscape. Their uplifted forms—suggested through expressive, fluid strokes—appear as silhouettes of people crying out in worship. Above them, a vast expanse of luminous whites, ambers, and molten golds cascades downward like divine light breaking through the heavens.
The contrast between the earthy, turbulent ground and the radiant sky reflects the tension between distress and deliverance. The remnant, though small and surrounded by darkness, lifts their voices toward the light, embodying hope, repentance, and the promise of salvation for those who call upon the Lord.
