The young Tuareg girl regards the well where the camels she has brought are drinking. Nomad children shoulder a heavy responsibility at an early age. These animals are her family's wealth. They provide food and transportation in the remote desert area where they live. Without them none could survive. This painting represent a profound moment in my Africa life that I will never forget.
