Description
Secret Window explores the relationship between concealment, memory and perception. The layered surface creates a sense of depth, as if something exists behind what can be seen. Built through monotype and recycled textile, the work combines printed marks, texture and material traces. The use of recycled fabric introduces a history of its own, while the layered process reflects the way memories and experiences accumulate, overlap and remain partly hidden. The work invites the viewer to look beyond the visible surface and consider what might be present beneath it.
