“Isthmus Rapsody”. I work in mixed media on canvas and panel. Influences come from maps and currents, from percussion and slowed-down melodies, and from everyday interiors where people live with color and memory. I want each painting to feel like a held moment - charged, tactile and a little musical. This piece reveals a bold dialogue between contrasting colors -blue and red - separated by a textured, shimmering gold that flows like a quiet current between two opposing tides.
