Description
Often, we visualize rocks as a hard, gray and shapeless mass of minerals and organic matter. As a photographer, I see rocks as natural forms, shaped by wind, weather, pressure and light. The shades of color, rough and smooth textures, shapes and patterns interest me. Here the irregular shapes and colors create a dramatic abstract with rich shades of orange, accompanied by tawny reds, pink and mauve. This study of interwoven shapes with soft geological lines makes a perfect choice for a contemporary or sophisticated traditional setting.
