Faces of the Essence is a series of abstract digital paintings that explores the human face as an expression of feelings, identities, and different states of the soul. Geometric shapes, curvilinear lines, and fields of vibrant colors intertwine to construct physiognomies that do not seek to represent a specific face, but to reveal what lies behind appearance.
The contrast between black, white, and intense colors creates movement, balance, and tension, while the painting's texture, marked by gesture and the relief of the material, adds an almost tactile dimension to the compositions.
