Misty Lake Reflections

Description

Something breaks the surface, and the whole lake seems to hold its breath before answering. Ripples spread outward like a spell taking effect, catching the bare branches at the edge and the grasses below. For one unguarded moment, whatever moves beneath decides to be seen — and just as quickly changes its mind.
