Golden Leaves of Autumn

Description

This is a colored pencil drawing of a study of autumn leaves. I love the crisp lines and deep shades of color. I wanted to capture the details in each leaf to create the feel of Autumn. This drawing was for my mother. She loved driving through the Colombia River Gorge during Autumn just to see all of the trees and leaves turning color. She hung this drawing in her living room as a reminder of those wonderful times we spent together.
