Monumental Paper Roll – Detail in Red and Gold

Description

Photographic detail of an approximately 25-metre-long monumental paper roll by Haci Sami Yaman. The red and gold lines shown here are part of a larger continuous original artwork; a single image cannot convey the full scale and effect of the roll. Lines, signs, colours, and motifs of memory form layered relationships across its length. The photograph has not yet been attributed to a particular roll with certainty. © Haci Sami Yaman.
