Zahara was no ordinary Skullcat. With her bright pink skin, deep-blue hair, and shining golden jewelry, she looked like she had stepped out of a dream.
But Zahara had a secret.
Every night when the moon rose, the golden mark on her forehead began to glow. It was the ancient symbol of the Moon Guardians, a forgotten group of Skullcats who protected the world from creatures hiding in the shadows.
One evening, the moon suddenly turned black.
Zahara felt a strange chill run through her body. She knew something was wrong.
Following a trail of golden sparks, she traveled deep into the Midnight Forest. There, she found an ancient golden throne surrounded by blue flames.
A mysterious voice whispered:
“Zahara… the darkness has awakened. Only you can bring back the light.”
Zahara stepped forward, her golden earrings shining brighter than ever.
She wasn't afraid.
She raised her hand toward the black moon, and a brilliant blue-and-gold light burst from her body. The darkness screamed and disappeared into the night.
The moon returned to its silver glow.
From that night on, Zahara became known as The Golden Moon Skullcat, protector of the night and guardian of every creature who wandered beneath the stars.
But whenever Zahara looked up at the moon, she could still hear the whisper:
“The darkness will return…”
And Zahara smiled.
