Dedicated to an anecdote involving Igor Stravinsky and Charlie Parker, In 1951 at the New York jazz club Birdland, Charlie Parker spotted classical composer Igor Stravinsky in the audience. Without greeting the crowd, Parker launched into "Ko-Ko" and seamlessly wove a motif from The Firebird (or The Rite of Spring) into his solo. Stravinsky was so thrilled by the private musical nod that he banged his glass and "spilled his scotch in ecstasy"
