Description
A lone figure stands beneath a bright moon, wings spread as a serpent coils around his body and legs. I imagined this scene as a picture of the forces that can bind us, even as we look toward something beyond ourselves. Graphite shading gives the image a quiet, dreamlike tension. Its thoughtful presence would bring a striking note to a reading nook or gallery wall.
