Taken at an old railroad graveyard in Duluth, Georgia many years ago. I had visited this site before so I made sure to bring along a sack of fruits and vegetables on this trip to use as models. This is the door of an old boxcar which I'm sure hauled many tons of produce over its lifetime. The simple but powerful image adds an anchoring point to many different decors and is an illustration of an abstract distillation of reality...and reflections upon a bygone past. This image is scanned from my original Kodachrome transparency...Simon & Garfunkel loved it, and so did I.
