Eye On The Challenge

Description

A chestnut horse leans into view, its braided mane, bright eye, and detailed bridle bringing a lively sense of motion to the portrait. I used soft pastels and pastel pencils to bring out the warmth of its coat and the focused expression I’ve come to know from spending time with horses. This piece brings a quiet connection to horses into a room and makes a lovely addition to your space.
