Retro Telephone Portrait

Description

This framed 1984 artwork by Peggy Winkel presents a playful, surreal figure surrounded by bold geometric patterns and comic-style sound effects such as “Ring,” “Ding,” and “Dong.” Yellow, red, blue, and teal details create a lively composition, while the expressive character and handwritten text add a quirky narrative quality. Set behind a dark mat with a teal frame and yellow inner border, it brings a distinctive retro-pop presence to a room. A fitting addition for collectors of unusual, character-driven artwork.
