Working this one up as a wood engraving—8x10 inches on Arnhem 1618 paper. The scene throws a nod to New England’s wild Atlantic, with a great white breaching beneath a lifeboat struggling in the surf. The interplay of light slicing through storm clouds was tough to carve... sometimes I question my sanity. A fitting piece to keep that maritime edge close at hand.
