Ink and Line Portrait

Description

This monochromatic portrait began with India ink and loose linework, allowing the face, glasses, hair, and surrounding forms to emerge through experimentation. Dense black areas contrast with delicate contours, giving the figure a thoughtful, slightly mysterious presence. I love the exploration without knowing the result... this piece brings a strong graphic presence to a studio, office, or gallery wall.
