I started this piece with loose marks, layered paint, and India ink, letting the forms develop without knowing where they would lead... A large black shape anchors the composition, while white looping lines, color blocks, dripping pigment, and small botanical details create a playful sense of movement. A quiet bird appears beneath the layered forms, adding an unexpected moment of life to the abstract composition. This mixed-media work brings an experimental, expressive presence to a living room, studio, or creative space.
