For over sixty years I have travelled in pursuit of light. From the North Sea & the Baltic, to Portugal and the Bahamas, the Seychelles and India, it is the changing atmosphere of each place, rather than its geography, that has remained the enduring inspiration for my paintings.

My current work started with having a studio by the Thames, I started there with river and City scapes and then moving onwards to the sea.
