Layered Earth Tones

Description

Layered bands of muted plum, bronze, and blue bring depth and movement to this textured abstract artwork. A deep blue edge frames the raised, glimmering details, adding contrast to the warm tones. Its subtle palette can bring a composed accent to your wall or shelf.

Oil painter in Seattle, mostly outdoors. Landscapes painted on site in two or three hours because that is how long the light lasts. Years of studio work taught me to fuss; painting in the rain taught me to stop. Still lose paintings to weather regularly.
