Eilean Donan Castle is nestled between 3 lakes in Scotland. In 2022 we visited when the skies were gray and raining. I wanted to capture both the feeling of the heavy air but also the colour in the tartans we found on our travels. The Canadian connection for Clan MacRae Clan is the poem "In Flanders Fields" by John MacRae.
