In Zen tradition, satori describes the sudden flash of awakening, not a gradual understanding but a rupture. The moment an idea emerges from the darkness of the mind with unexpected clarity.
Within a field of deep, restless darkness, a solitary form appears, wrapped, luminous, suspended. It is not yet fully born. Its presence alone signals that something has shifted.
The deconstructed canvas threads along the edge expose the raw interior of the work, echoing the rawness of the inner mind before resolution arrives. The quiet glow at the centre is not an answer. It is the beginning of one.
