Ecos del Puerto

This started when I was going through my archives, realizing I had several images of ships at the harbors on different trips to the Oregon Coast. The more I worked with it, the more it came to life, and created a vision for me. I used 3 of my own images and layered them along textures in photoshop.
Each overlapping image and textured surface is meant to echo the way memories settle and intertwine, much like silt at the bottom of a harbor. The result is a visual tapestry that invites viewers to reflect on the stories and histories that linger in familiar places. The monochromatic palette and soft interplay of light and shadow create a contemplative mood, inviting a sense of quiet reflection and longing. As you explore the layers, you may discover echoes of your own memories—moments suspended in time, waiting to be unearthed.
