Description
She chases sunlight in a dress made of yellow petals.
Yellow that feels like a small, warm laugh. Lavender air that lets the color sing. Thick palette knife petals that practically lift from the canvas. Small format, big personality.
I painted "Chase Sunlight" as a study in joy and quiet—bright cadmium yellows layered with soft lavenders to create motion without a single defined face. The figure turns away so you can step into the moment and imagine the breeze, the light, the way the fabric blooms. I used palette knife technique to build texture and depth, letting each petal become a playful dab of color that reads like floral confetti in motion.
This is No. 4 in my series titled: “It’s All About the Dress”.
