"Crimson Burst" is an abstract impasto floral played in confident reds and warm highlights. It’s cheeky and refined at the same time, asking to be placed where a burst of personality is needed!
I painted "Crimson Burst" using a palette knife technique, building petals with layers of oil to create depth and motion. As I worked I felt a playful, energizing rhythm — each swipe added a little more heartbeat to the flowers. The black centers and simple striped vase keep the design modern, so the piece can sit beside ceramics, on a narrow entry shelf, or on a bedside table to add a bright focal point. Want to group it with neutrals? Try a small wooden frame and a decorative easel for a clean, curated vignette!!!
