Woher? (Where From?)

Description

Where From? explores the idea of a cosmic beginning without attempting to depict it literally. A pale central core is surrounded by irregular concentric movements of blue, turquoise, white, gold and bronze. As they expand, order gradually dissolves into fragments, while a large open space remains almost untouched. Rather than asking how the universe began, the work turns to a more fundamental question: Why was there anything at all that could begin?
