Black Beetle Bloom

Description

A dramatic close-up of a dark beetle unfolds against a vivid turquoise ground, framed by branching foliage in gold, yellow, and rust. Fine, expressive linework traces the insect’s curved shell and legs, bringing detail to the contrast between shadow and color. Its unusual composition makes a striking addition to a study, hallway, or gallery wall.

Artist

I create expressive portraits, animal studies, and curious sculptural pieces, layering intricate linework, vivid color, and found textures to give familiar forms a strange, storybook life.
